As a first step towards achieving this mission, the company launched IRO®—a next-generation CGT manufacturing platform designed to automate better biology and accelerate therapy development. The platform helps make advanced therapies more affordable and accessible to patients worldwide.
While scientific breakthroughs in cell and gene therapy continue across cancer and rare genetic diseases, more than 95% of eligible patients still lack access to these life-saving treatments. A major barrier is the high cost and complexity of manufacturing, with current processes characterised by low throughput and limited scalability.
Ori Biotech is addressing this challenge.
