Constructive Bio
A spin-out from Prof. Jason Chin’s Lab at The University of Cambridge, Constructive Bio is working to break barriers in protein engineering by editing genes with more precision and at a greater scale than ever before.
The Chin Lab has pioneered approaches for reprogramming the genetic code of living organisms. The aim is to write whole genomes, turning cells into sustainable bio-factories which can be programmed in the same way as computers. Cell programming will address issues from protein-based therapeutic design, industrial and environmental sustainability, food and agriculture, and consumer care and electronics.
