Bhavani joined Amadeus Capital Partners in 2015. Bhavani brings seventeen years of investment experience in India and the US to Amadeus’s emerging market team. Based in Bangalore, Bhavani focuses on investments in India and South East Asia.
Prior to Amadeus, Bhavani was at Intel Capital in Silicon Valley where he focused on investments in mobile software and payments start-ups. He led investments in PGP, acquired by Symantec; Airmagnet, acquired by Fluke networks; Clearwire (Nasdaq:CLWR); Click&Buy, acquired by Deutsche Telekom; Movea, acquired by Invensense; Crisp Media, acquired by Quotient; Cashstar, acquired by Blackhawk and Speakeasy, acquired by Best Buy.
Prior to moving to the US, Bhavani made investments in India, including Tejas Networks (NSE:TEJASNET), Deccanet Designs, acquired by Flextronics, Nipuna, acquired by Satyam, Perpetuuiti and Happiest Minds.
Bhavani began his career at Arthur Andersen, is a graduate of Sydenham College, University of Bombay, and is a Chartered Accountant.
