Pat is an investment manager with Amadeus, focusing on the Cleantech sector. Pat joined Amadeus in 2006 through the prestigious Kauffman Fellows program. As part of his Kauffman Fellowship, Pat also held a joint appointment with Imperial College’s Energy Futures Lab. Since joining the firm, Pat has led the development of Amadeus’ cleantech practice, and co-led Amadeus’ investment in: GreenRoad, a company which provides enterprise solutions to manage driver safety and fuel efficiency for vehicle fleets; and is a director of AMEE, which has built a comprehensive greenhouse gas (GHG) standards database and calculation engine, to both power Enterprise Carbon Accounting applications and provide a trusted neutral resource for carbon practitioners.
Prior to joining Amadeus, Pat was an independent management consultant for seven years in the Cleantech, Life Sciences, and Materials Science fields. Concurrently, from 2003-2004 Pat served as VP of Finance and Operations for H2onsite, a California-based hydrogen generation start-up. Pat began his career with five years in Bain & Co’s Boston office, where he advised clients in a number of sectors. He has also served as a Practice Area Fellow in McKinsey's Electric Power & Natural Gas group.
Pat holds a BA from Dartmouth College, USA and a MA in Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, where he focused on energy and climate change. Pat is an American citizen and speaks Spanish.
