Pat Burtis

Pat is an associate with Amadeus Capital Partners Limited, focusing on the Cleantech sector. Pat joined Amadeus in 2006 through the prestigious Kauffman Fellows program, run by the US-based Center for Venture Education. As part of his Kauffman Fellowship, Pat holds a faculty position at Imperial College, London, and will draw on Imperial’s Energy Futures Lab to develop and execute Amadeus’ investment strategy in Cleantech.

Prior to joining Amadeus, Pat was an independent management consultant for seven years in the Cleantech, Life Sciences, and Materials Science fields. Concurrently, from 2003-2004 Pat served as VP of Finance and Operations for H2onsite, a California-based hydrogen generation start-up. Pat began his career with five years in Bain & Co’s Boston office, where he advised clients in a number of sectors. He has also served as a Practice Area Fellow in McKinsey's Electric Power & Natural Gas group.

Pat holds a BA from Dartmouth College, USA and a Masters of Environmental Management from the Yale School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, where he focused on energy and climate change. At Amadeus, Pat works closely with Chief Executive Anne Glover, who is Pat’s Kauffman Fellows mentor. Pat is an American citizen and speaks Spanish.
