With a background in microbiology and genetics, Manasi Ramanna joined Amadeus as an associate in 2008 to focus on the medical technology and diagnostics sectors. She is working with Amadeus and Imperial College's Institute of Biomedical Engineering on a two year Knowledge Transfer Partnership funded by the Technology Strategy Board. Her role includes exploring new opportunities, supporting portfolio companies and strengthening Amadeus' networks, in this business segment. A recent graduate of the London Business School, Manasi was a summer associate at Amadeus in 2007 where she concentrated on medtech investments.
Manasi brings corporate experience in biotechnology and medical devices to Amadeus from stints in the US companies Lifesync Corp and GMP Genetics, where she was involved in research and development, operations, client relations and fund-raising.
A native of India, Manasi holds life science degrees from St Xavier’s College in Mumbai and Rutgers University in New Jersey, USA. She speaks Hindi and English.
