Jason is an investment manager at Amadeus, where he focuses primarily on opportunities in the hardware and cleantech sectors. Since joining the firm as an associate in 2007, he has worked closely with Liquavista, the electronic display maker, and Forth Dimension Displays, the world’s leading high-resolution micro-display supplier, helping both companies realise exits in 2010 and early 2011 respectively. Jason is actively involved with ComQi, a global, managed service proposition to digital-out-of-home advertising networks; and Edgeware, which builds server systems for on-demand TV. He is also an observer on the board of Xelerated, a provider of network processors.

Prior to joining Amadeus, Jason was a lead member of a multidisciplinary technology and product development team at E Ink Corporation in Cambridge, Massachusetts where he worked on commercialization of the world’s first electronic ink display. The technology has been widely deployed in a range of consumer products most notably Amazon's Kindle electronic book.

Jason holds a BSc and an MSc in Materials Science and Engineering from MIT and Stanford University respectively and a PhD in Physics from Cambridge University. Jason is Trinidadian and also has American citizenship.
