Bill is an associate with Amadeus Capital Partners Limited, where he specialises in the hardware, semiconductor and communications sectors. Since joining the firm in 2005, he has worked on a number of investments and is a board observer for: Cambridge Broadband Networks, a company delivering high quality multi-service networks to network operators; Intune Networks, a Dublin-based company developing next-generation equipment for telecommunications networks; Nomad, a company installing and operating networks that provide broadband connectivity to trains; Plastic Logic, a company that has developed a process for producing flexible plastic transistors for use in computer displays; and XMOS, a company that is revolutionising re-configurable silicon chips.
An engineer by training, Bill held product management and engineering positions for LightPointe, a venture-backed optical wireless networking equipment manufacturer, and Tiernan Communications, a digital video equipment manufacturer, both US-based. This operational experience provides Bill with excellent tools to assess investment opportunities for Amadeus.
Bill holds an MBA from the London Business School and a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, California. Bill is an American citizen.
