Andrey is a venture manager with Amadeus Capital Partners Limited. Since joining the firm in 2003, he has been involved in Amadeus’ investments in Solexa, a sequencing machine company developing revolutionary ultra-high throughput DNA sequencing technology, Artimi, a fabless semiconductor and software company, developing ultra-wide band chipsets, Level 5, a semiconductor and software company targeting the fast-growing market for server networking equipment, and Valista, a software company providing payments and offer management software to wireless and fixed line operators and ISPs. Andrey is actively involved in working with these portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Amadeus Andrey gained substantial international experience in telecommunications and software implementation at companies as varied as PanTel Telecom, the eastern European subsidiary of KPN; Nextra, an internet division of Telenor; and several positions at Scala Business Solutions, a multinational business software company. Andrey started his career at Baltic Communications, a Russian subsidiary of Cable & Wireless.

He holds an MBA degree with distinction from INSEAD and an MSc in Computer Science with distinction from the Air-Space Instruments University in Russia.

A Russian native, Andrey is fluent in Russian and English and speaks basic Hungarian.
