Alastair joined Amadeus Capital Partners Limited in 2005 as chief operating officer, with responsibility for finance, human resources, information technology and information services. He also supports Anne Glover, the chief executive, in fundraising and investor relations.

A lawyer by training, Alastair was a partner at Taylor Wessing, a London-based commercial law firm, and specialised in advising fast-growing technology and venture capital companies. He spent the earlier part of his career working in the IT industry as programmer, consultant and customer services manager.

He holds an SAB Diploma in Law from Sydney University and a BA in Economics and Philosophy from Oriel College, Oxford. He is a solicitor admitted to practice in England and Wales, and in New South Wales, Australia.

Alastair is a citizen of the UK and Australia. He speaks Spanish.
