Agillic is a Danish software company that provides communications service providers (CSPs) with the ability to market personalised services to customers. Founded in 1999, Agillic has built an integrated service platform that empowers CSPs to interact real-time with end users via any digital channel (SMS, voice, e-mail, web, automated voice response, etc). Agillic's service-oriented architecture (SOA) requires little integration with back-office systems and therefore offers a substantial return for CSPs.
Agillic’s product line is well-timed to serve international CSPs that are embracing the Scandinavian model of customer self-service and care. Amadeus has been working with Agillic to develop an international marketing strategy, and has helped establish UK-based headquarters and the building out of the management team.
In May 2006, Amadeus led a €5 million first round of institutional expansion capital. The Danish venture capital firm, Vaekstfonden, and Mike Frayne, the serial entrepreneur and founder of Intec Telecom also invested in this financing round.
